A Campus and Community Art Show

Artwork Submissions:
Register to Participate As An Artist
- February 14: Register to participate as an artist
- February 21: Submit artwork by 4 p.m. to the Penn State DuBois Library
Artwork Judging and Awards:
Artwork will be judged and awarded as follows:
- Community award “Best in the Show”
- Faculty and Staff Award: "Best in Show"
- Penn State DuBois Students: 1st, 2nd, 3rd in each category
- Winners will be announced at the end of the show, need not be present to win
*Over $500 in prizes to award
Artwork Submission Guidelines:
- Register to participate using the link above
- Submit your original artwork to the Penn State DuBois Library:
- no later than Wed., Feb. 21, 2024 at 4 p.m.
- Penn State DuBois Library, Hiller Building, top floor
- Open Hours, M-F, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Please note, campus will be closed from Friday, December 22, 2023 and will reopen Tuesday, January 2, 2024. The campus is also closed on January 15, 2024 in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
- Artwork may consist of the following mediums:
- painting, drawing, ceramics, glass, jewelry, visual arts, mixed media, photography, printmaking, sculpture, tapestry, digital art, short stories, and poetry.
- When submitting artwork at the library, complete the provided form and attach to your piece.
- Provide materials to display your artwork.
- Short stories and poetry are limited to 2 to 3 pages or 500 words.
Items of Note:
- Fragile artwork is submitted at the artist’s risk. All attempts will be made to handle artwork with care, but Penn State DuBois and its staff are not responsible for any damage to artwork.
- Artwork may be retrieved by the artist at the end of the show or no later than Friday, March 1, 2024 at 4 p.m. in the Penn State DuBois Library.
- Penn State DuBois reserves the right to photograph works for publicity and future advertising purposes.
- Penn State DuBois is hosting and organizing the art show and all artwork will be displayed unless it is deemed inappropriate for a general audience.
